Despite a disappointing lack of bleeding, the first Radio Flyer Death Match was an unforgettable time. Twenty teams competed in this time trial event on a 50-yard course at the Bourbon Theater. Team 12 maneuvered the “U”-shaped course in 11:15 seconds to earn the matching trophies.
Wagonblasters led the sonic assault on a five-band Speed! Nebraska Records showcase that also featured the Mezcal Brothers, Filter Kings, Ideal Cleaners and Mercy Rule.
